Keep Reading, Ms. Tyler This week students in grades 2 through 5 have been discussing the Big 10 categories non-fiction books have been placed into on our library shelves. These categories are called the Dewey Decimal System, after a man named Melvil Dewey. He decided books needed to be sorted into topics and gave each topic a name and three-digit number.
